DOOLSI® A TRUE REVOLUTION ON SILK

TIRUPATI FINE WOOL WORSTED YARNS

CERTIFIED ITALIAN WOOL, FINE WOOLS, RARE AND PRECIOUS FIBERS

Doolsi® retains the natural structure of mulberry silk through MMT tech-nology, eliminating reeling and degumming while significantly reducing water pollutants (COD, BOD). It saves water and energy, making it a truly green and low-carbon silk fiber.

Sustainable of ecology, production and pupae's life.

With the support of MMT green technology, Doolsi® breaks the traditional production mode of human acquiring silk. Do not have to turn fresh cocoons into dry cocoon, do not artificially deprive the life of the pupa. Doolsi® uses fresh cocoon, whole cocoon raw materials, through the independent research and development of equipment, to retain the life of the pupa, so that it can complete the life course. Our technology is truly productive and ecologically sustainable, as well as pupal life is sustainable.

WEGANOOL

VEGAN FIBER by FABORG

HILATURAS ARNAU

"GRS" YARNS - TECHNICAL AND FASHION

WEGANOOL is an exclusive vegan, innovative and 100% sustainable fiber, produced by FABORG, a "social" enterprise in South India. WEGANOOL is an excellent example of how textile production can have a highly positive social and ecological impact, with the processing and end use of the product adhering to biodegradation, fair trade and cruelty free standards.

WEGANOOL fiber has been used since ancient times to make clothes for children and for the nobility.

But it is also found in the first strings for bow and subsequently, thanks to its resistance to salt water, the fibers of WEGANOOL have become precious in the creation of long-lasting fishing nets. The discovery of these durable fibers played a crucial role in human evolution.

Although this significant fiber has almost been forgotten, in many traditional Indian families WEGANOOL fibers are used to make antimicrobial seat belts for infants.

The significance of the WEGANOOL plant does not stop only in its fibers

- In Hindu culture, Calotropis flowers (botanical name of the plant that produces WEGANOOL) are offered to Shiva and      Ganesha

- In Ayurveda it was used for its medicinal properties

- In agriculture it has been used as an effective bio-compost and insecticide

- In Auroville it is one of the flowers in the Mother's garden that represents courage.

"Those who are brave can give courage to others, just as the flame of a candle can light another".
